Seven Locks Swim & Tennis Club

2011 New Membership Information
We have two types of
memberships available:
(1) Equity Membership:
Equity
membership (previously called "bonded" membership) entitles you to voting privileges in pool
management decisions put to a membership vote, the ability to serve on the club
Board (the governing body of the pool), use of the tennis courts and tennis
programs year around, and reduced annual membership dues. Equity members
are stakeholders in the pool's non-profit corporation, Seven Locks Pool, Inc.
Equity membership requires a one-time,
non-refundable membership fee of $800. This fee is payable, at the
member's option, in three equal annual installments of $300.
All
members are subject to annual dues, which are set each year by the Board of
Directors. The annual dues for the 2011 season (unchanged from last year) are:
Family Membership ......................$615
Couple
Membership......................$550
Single
Membership.......................$450
Therefore, in the case of a new Equity member joining in 2011,
and paying the membership fee in installments, the initial 2011 payment would be
$915 ($300 membership fee installment plus $615 annual dues).
Special Discount for New Equity Members
Joining in 2011:
For all new member families who join Seven Locks
as Equity Members in 2011, we are currently offering a special discount:
New member families need only pay the single
member dues of $450 for your first season at Seven Locks, instead of the
usual $615 dues for family membership -- a savings of $165!
In addition, we
offer a senior discount of $75 off the regular annual dues to
those couples or singles members who are over the age of 60.
To join, simply fill out an
Equity membership application
and send it with your payment to Seven Locks Pool, Inc., P.O. Box 34509,
Bethesda, MD 20827. For payment of the membership fee in installments,
please fill out the
Equity membership installment application.
(2) Summer (Temporary) Membership:
A
Summer membership is temporary for the summer season only and does not require a
membership fee
payment but has higher seasonal dues. This membership also limits the use of any
facilities to the summer season and prohibits voting on club issues. Summer
memberships are limited to a maximum of three consecutive seasons and are
limited in availability. The fee for a 2011 Summer
(Temporary) Membership is $925.
