Seven Locks Swim & Tennis Club
Summer 2008 Membership
Information:
We have two types of
memberships available.
A Permanent
Bond Holding Membership entitles you to voting privileges in pool
management decisions put to a membership vote, the ability to serve on the club
Board (the governing body of the pool), use of the tennis courts and tennis
programs year around, and reduced annual membership dues.
The cost of the bond
is a one-time payment of $600 if paid in full, or $230 per year if paid over three years.
The $600 bond is refunded to a
permanent bond holding member when that member leaves the pool and the bond is sold in turn
to a new member. (Note: This refund does not apply to members
who have not yet completed their installment bond payments, i.e., are not yet permanent
bond holding members.)
In
addition, new members are subject to a one-time, non-refundable Initiation/Capital
Improvement Fee
of $200.
All
members are subject to annual dues. The annual dues for the 2008 season are:
Family Membership .....................$615
Couple
Membership......................$550
Single
Membership.......................$450
Therefore, for example, an existing permanent bond holding family member will
pay $615 annual dues, while a new family member paying for the bond in
installments will pay a total of $845 ($230 bond installment plus the current
$615 annual dues) for three seasons, at
which time the bond is fully paid and the member becomes a permanent bond holding
member. The new member will also pay a one-time Initiation Fee of $200.
We
offer a senior discount of $75 off the regular annual dues to
those members who are over the age of 60.
The second type of
membership is a Seasonal (Temporary) Membership that does not require a bond
payment but has higher annual dues. This membership also limits the use of any
facilities to the summer season and prohibits voting on club issues. There are a
limited number of these memberships available. The fee for a 2008 Seasonal
(Temporary) Membership is $880.
